Starter motors

Car starter motors are devices that start the internal combustion engine. They consist of an electric motor, a solenoid and a gear pinion. The electric motor receives current from the battery and converts it into mechanical energy. The solenoid activates the gear pinion, which engages with the ring gear of the engine flywheel. When the pinion turns, the movement is transmitted to the internal combustion engine, which starts and keeps running by itself.

There are different brands of starter motors, each with its own characteristics and advantages. Some of the best-known brands are:

- Bosch : It is a German company that manufactures high quality and reliable starter motors, with a wide range of models for different types of vehicles. Its starter motors have a thermal protection system and a compact and lightweight design.

- Dense : A Japanese company specializing in automotive electrical and electronic systems. Their starter motors are efficient and long-lasting, with low energy consumption and high performance. They also offer environmentally friendly solutions such as hybrid starter motors or induction starter motors.

- Valeo : A French company that produces components and systems for the automotive industry. Its starter motors are innovative and adapted to market needs, with technologies such as reinforced starter motors or intelligent starter motors that optimize vehicle operation.
